Umrah Hajj Maps User Guide
Umrah Hajj Maps show Facilities, Gates, Hotels, Makatibs & Camps locations on map and provid tools to search, locate, navigate to and share Makatibs (Camps) easily. These maps are fully mobile compatible and optimized.
Add Umrah Hajj Maps Web App shortcut or Icon to phone home screen as Phone App
Android
1. Open Seerab Umrah Hajj Maps website https://hajjmaps.seerab.com/ in Google Chrome browser and tap the customize & control Google Chrome button (three dots on upper right hand side corner of the Google Chrome browser)
2.Tap Add to Home Screen
3.Tap Add(You can rename as you wish)
4.Confirm New Icon Appears on Home Screen or in Apps
Iphone
1. Open Seerab Umrah Hajj Maps website https://hajjmaps.seerab.com/ in Safari browser and tap the action Button
2.Tap Add to Home Screen Button
3.Tap Add
4.Confirm New Icon Appears on Home Screen or in Apps
Turn On Iphone IOS Geolocation
On Iphone IOS Goto
Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Share My Location
Select Apps (Safari Websites, Google Chrome & Firefox)
Under Allow Location Access below options are available. Never is default option.
Select While Using the App
When you Select While Using the App blue tick mark will appear against it. Now it is active and your browser app can access your phone GPS location. Now on Hajj Maps you can use geolocation. when you first time access geoloation on Hajj Maps a dialog prompt will appear to ask the permission to access you location. Allow location access and on map you can see and track your location.
Hajj Maps
Hajj Maps (Mina Map - Pakistan & Arafat Map - Pakistan) show the number of Makatib (Camps), Type of Makatib by color, Area covered by the Makatib (Camps) by boundary, Locations of Poles with makatib number and road number. Location of major facilities in the area.
Base Maps – Scouts Map, Road Map, Topo Map, Satellite & No Basemap
On the top right corner, Tab provide options to switch between basemaps of choice Satellite, Road Map, Topo Map, Scouts Map & No Basemap.
The Scouts Map base map turn on show Al Haram, Azezea, Mina and Arafat guide map of Hajj. show the number and location of Camps, Region/Countries of Camps by color, road number, type & bus parkings. Location of major facilities in the area.
The Road Map base map overlaid with hajj map provide information about streets, road network, facilities in the area.
The Topo Map base map turn on topographical overlay to show changes in elevation. Darker areas with lines that are close together represent steep inclines. Hint: Use this in conjunction with the real hajj map to identify depressions and high & low areas.
The Satellite base map provide you with a bird’s-eye view of the area using satellite image.
The No Basemap No base map only show hajj maps.
Overlay Maps – Mina Map, Arafat Map, Mina Map - Pakistan, Arafat Map - Pakistan, Scouts Map Legend, Facilities Locations Haram GF, Facilities Locations Haram FF
On the top right corner, under basemap Tab provide options to turn on and off maps and make transprent with Transparency tool.
The Mina Map Show locations of Pakistan Makatib (Camps).
The Arafat Map Show locations of Pakistan Makatib (Camps).
The Mina Muzdalifah Arafat Borders Map Show you boundries of Mina Muzdalifah & Arafat and also approximate border lines of the Mina Muzdalifah & Arafat.
The Mina Map - Pakistan show the number of Makatib (Camps), Type of Makatib by color, Area covered by the Makatib (Camps) by boundary, Locations of Poles with makatib number and road number. Location of major facilities in the area.
The Arafat Map - Pakistan show the number of Makatib (Camps), Type of Makatib by color, Area covered by the Makatib (Camps) by boundary, Locations of Poles with makatib number and road number. Location of major facilities in the area.
The Scouts Map Legend Show Scouts Map Legend.
The Facilities Locations Haram GF show locations of facilities/amenities available on ground floor of Al Haram.
The Facilities Locations Haram FF show locations of facilities/amenities available on first floor of Al Haram.
The Mina Arafat Zones show zones of camps area of Mina & Arafat.
Bookmark Locations
On the top right corner below Transparency, Bookmark icon, click it and then click again on add bookmark link. Enter the name of the bookmark location and click on the "+" sign to add bookmark of the location. you can view bookmarked location instanlty by selecting bookmark name in the list.
Compass
On the top right corner below Bookmark icon is Compass icon it show north direction and angle of north direction in degrees.
Geolocation
On Top right corner blow Zoom In & Out, Black Circle with tick marks once tapped turns Orange and start tracking – it shows the blue circle around your location with size derived from precision of the location data available. If you don’t drag the map it will keep you positioned once you move. When tapped first time it asks for permission to access device location information.
Full Extent
Show map's full coverage area.
Measure
Measure distance in meters and Kms.
Map Legend
Show Hajj Map Legend.
Makatib Search
Show hide Makatib Search, Filter and Sort List.
Transparency
On the top right corner below base map, two Up, down Arrows provides option to make Overlay Maps transparent & opaque according to need. Transparency provide ability to see underlying base maps.
Full Screen mode
On the top right corner below transparency slider, Dashed Square tab opens the map in full screen mode and provide large area to view and navigate on map.
Zoom In & Out
On top right hand, Tab shows “+” and “–” signs. “+” is to zoom in and “–” is to zoom out. Simply clicking with mouse on “+” will zoom in the map, and clicking the “–” will zoom out the map. On pc mouse wheel can be used to zoom in and out. On Mobiles use 2 figures for zoom in and out.
Scale Bar
On bottom right corner, Scale Bar provides a simple map scale in meters & ft. It gives idea of distance on ground according to current zoom level.
Share the Map
By clicking the Makatib (Camps) points on the map or selecting the Makatib No in Search List will open information dialogue about makatib and provide options to share your location.
